Titan Iron Banner Armor in Destiny: Rise of Iron
The Iron Banner set for Rise of Iron really embodies that medieval feeling that this game mode has always tried to capture. Looking at the Titan, you can see plenty of furs and leather work that really stands out from other Iron Banner gear. What’s especially noteworthy for this expansion is that it will feature more than one set for you to acquire, so make sure to keep an eye out for all of these set pieces. We assume that the drop rate and light levels will update with Rise of Iron like they did for the last expansion. This makes this game mode especially important if you are looking to level up for the raid or to participate in Trials of Osiris.

Hunter Iron Banner Armor in Destiny: Rise of Iron
Hunters have always been the agile fighters of Destiny, and this is nicely reflected in the new Iron Banner sets. With a mix of fur, leather, and metal these sets for the Hunters make them feel like the game’s quick killer. There’s also the pretty awesome ornaments that will light your Guardian’s gear on fire and let you shine out in the darkness. Just, please, stay away from the curtain.

Warlock Iron Banner Armor in Destiny: Rise of Iron
Warlocks have always been a difficult class to cast in the role of a knight since they inherently feel far more like wizards. While their previous Iron Banner sets have been hit or miss, this new armor feels perfect for them. Not only to they have a unique set of curves and metal plating, but the ornate designs feel like they represent the class well. Hopefully, they look just as good in motion as they do in their photos!

Iron Banner - the fan favourite Crucible activity - once again returns to Destiny 2 for Season 4.
For those who didn't play the original Destiny, Iron Banner is a competitive Crucible event with unique gear up for grabs as they level up a unique Iron Banner faction.
It's only around for one week at a time, so it pays to know when it's returning and why you should invest your time into it.

Destiny 2 Iron Banner - How it works and what's different in Season 4
The latest Iron Banner will last until the next weekly reset from Tuesday September 18 to Tuesday September 25.
The mode this week is Control, and includes a reprised map - Convergence.
Here's what's different in Season 4 compared to previously:
How to access Iron Banner
If you haven't accessed Iron Banner before, you need to do the following to play it:
How Iron Banner works
The core loop of Iron Banner is completing matches to earn a unique currency - Iron Banner Tokens - which must be cashed in before the event ends. Wins give you more of this currency than losses, and the more you play in the week, the more rewards you'll be able to cash in and receive.
Tokens come from the following sources:
Each time you level up the faction, you receive an engram with Iron Banner loot. Not only that, you can also purchase specific Iron Banner weapons and gear direct once you hit the right Iron Banner reputation level.
Meanwhile, your reputation progress carries over from one event to the next, as long as it's part of the same Season. So far Season-specific emblems will only be available during that season, and it's likely Season 3 will be the same.
Iron Banner Season 4 gear - weapons and armour rewards explained
Rewards come from handing in Tokens and completing weekly bounties from Lord Saladin. Levelling up this Iron Banner Faction will then gives you both Iron Banner Engrams and the ability to purchase weapons and armour direct.
